How much time should I allow to tour each home?

Each home visit lasts about 30 minutes. You should allow 15 minutes from your exit from one home to get to the next destination. Some nights are busier than others. On Saturday nights, lines to enter a home may be 15-30 minutes.

Do I have to tour all the homes on one day?

No. Your 2017 ticket is good for any date.

Do I tour the homes in any order?

No, you can visit the homes in any order.

Can I buy tour tickets at a home?

Yes, but by cash purchase only.

Are the homes handicaps accessible?

Not necessarily. Some will be more accessible than others.

Does my ticket allow access to other attractions?

Yes – The Enchanted Forest at South Line Street & East Jefferson Street, and the Christmas music at the historic Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 501 E. Jefferson are free and open to the public. See the 2017 Candlelight Music Schedule for performers, dates, and times.

No other events are included in the home tour ticket.

Where are public restrooms located?

Candlelight Headquarters, 116 W. Austin Street Transportation and Visitors Center, 305 E Austin Street Public facilities behind City Hall, 102 N. Polk Street
